Elton back in Derby for first time since 1979

Derbyshire County Cricket Club will be playing host to Sir Elton John at the 3aaa County Ground on Sunday 4th June 2017 as he performs his first show in Derby since 1979 as part of his worldwide Wonderful Crazy Night Tour.
Having been awarded multiple GRAMMYs and BRITs, and even an Oscar and a Tony Award, Elton has proven his universal acclaim. Taking to the stage, Elton will perform songs from his latest studio album Wonderful Crazy Night, as well as his most-loved hits from his stellar career.
Simon Storey, chief executive of Derbyshire County Cricket Club, said: “Sir Elton John is one of the most recognised and decorated British artists of all time and we’re delighted to secure a tour date for Derby in 2017.”
