Over 20 jobs at risk as classic car restorer stalls

A Leicestershire firm which restores classic cars has slipped into administration – putting over 20 jobs at risk.
Brookfield Classics, which was founded in Hinckley in 2001 by owner and managing director Stephen Nott, has appointed Manchester-based recovery and insolvency firm Leonard Curtis as administrators.
Brookfield operates in two areas: the painting and restoration of classic motor vehicles, ranging from vintage 1920s models, a variety of classic Jaguar models, Aston Martin, Jensen, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Rolls Royce & Bentley, through to modern models including Mercedes, BMW, Porsche, Jaguar, Noble and Ferrari.
The firm also manages the production finishing of composite parts and materials.
