Toolstation expands in Loughborough

Toolstation, the multinational direct sale and online supplier of trade tools, accessories and hardware products, has expanded into Loughborough in a property deal brokered by NG Chartered Surveyors.

Toolstation has completed the lease of the 3,827 sq ft former Floors 2 Go unit located on the corner of Prince William Road and Jubilee Drive.

Philip MacLauchlan, director of Adept Consultancy, acted for Toolstation. He said: “The opening of a new trade counter facility in Loughborough means that Toolstation has over 275 open or under offer throughout England, Scotland and Wales.

“We have a good working relationship with Richard Sutton and the NG team in what was a complex transaction with many issues resolved.”

Sutton added: “This unit has always been massively popular due to its prime position, so when it came to the market Toolstation were quick to secure a deal fighting off massive levels of competing interest.

“This deal goes to underpin both the strength of the market at the moment and of the location.”
