Linney Group reports flat year

Mansfield priting and marketing firm Linney Group has reported a flat year, with profits of £3.3m for the year ending 1 May 2016 – the same as in 2015.

Turnover also remained stable at £84.5m – up slightly from £84m in 2015.

Linney Group employs 776 people at its Mansfield premises.

In the company’s annual report, Miles Linney, director, said: “As ever, whilst numbers are important, we are particularly pleased with the continued positive feedback from our existing customers, as expressed in our annual customer survey. This is our most important measure in the business.

“During the year we have continued our investments in new machines. Our focus has been on reducing outwork and buying equipment to keep as much work in-house as possible and make sure we remain competitive and sensitive to very tight deadlines.”
