Agents tight lipped as reports suggest banking giant is eyeing Manchester office

Goldman Sachs has appointed JLL to look out for a 60,000 sq ft office in either Birmingham or Manchester, according to reports.
React News says that the US investment bank wants to create a regional “technology hub” and has instructed JLL to look to the regions.
If it goes ahead, the office will be Goldman Sach’s second regional office. Last year it opened a branch of its retail bank, Marcus, in Milton Keynes.
JLL declined to comment when TheBusinessDesk.com approached it for a quote.
Earlier this month, accountancy giant PwC opened its largest regional office in Birmingham when it moved into the seven storey, 172,000sq ft One Chamberlain Square building.
