Capita stays at Lee House

OUTSOURCING firm Capita has agreed to extend its occupation of Lee House at Great Bridgewater Street until 2017.

The firm has committed to 27,064 sq ft of space at the building until 2017. The firm has occupied both Lee House and the neighbouring Churchgate House since 2007.
DTZ’s Office Agency team is acting as joint agent with King Sturge for the property, which is owned by CB Richard Ellis Investors.

James Raspin, surveyor at DTZ, said: “Significant capital has been invested in improving Lee and Churchgate House in recent years, and Capita’s decision to sign up until 2017 is confirmation that the investment has paid off and that the building is still an attractive proposition to occupiers.

“The improvement works have cost over £2 million and have included the complete redesign of the reception area, refurbishment of office suites, works to the Grade II-listed elevations of the buildings and remodelling of the courtyard.”

Some 10,142 sq ft remains available on the ground floor of Lee House. Suites are also available at Churchgate House ranging from 1,909 sq ft up to a whole floor of 22,634 sq ft.
