First occupants move in to £7.5m residential scheme

Bridgewater Gate

Property consultancy Knight Knox and Fortis Developments are celebrating the completion of Bridgewater Gate, a new £7.5m residential scheme in Salford.

Apartments at the development on Woden Street, just a stone’s throw from Manchester city centre and walking distance to the bustling MediaCityUK, sold out within six months of the launch in early 2016.

Now, construction of the scheme is complete, with the first occupants moving in from yesterday (Tuesday, August 1).

Bridgewater Gate is comprised of 53 contemporary apartments spread across six storeys, with a mixture of studios and one, two and three-bedroom apartments.

Amenities include secure parking and a communal roof terrace.

Andy Phillips, commercial director at Knight Knox, said: “Salford has become a property hot spot thanks to its impressive income yields and proximity to Manchester city centre and MediaCityUK, so there is no surprise that Bridgewater Gate has proven to be another hugely popular development.

“This particular development not only answers the demand of the buy-to-let investor market, but provides the perfect home for anyone seeking luxury living in a prime location, so we have no doubt that owner-occupiers and tenants alike will be very happy here.”

Fortis Developments director Kieran Moore said: “The combination of Bridgewater Gate’s chic exterior and unrivalled interior design, plus the rare bonus of enclosed green spaces, make the development an attractive investment.

“The quick sell-out of this scheme also demonstrates the confidence investors have in the area and we look forward to welcoming the first tenants very soon.”

The completion of Bridgewater Gate marks a significant milestone for Knight Knox and Fortis, having brought to market more than 3,500 apartments during their partnership across 30 developments.
