Waterfront offices in Liverpool get major facelift

Pure Business offices

The new waterfront offices of legal services firm Pure Business Group have undergone a major facelift.

Having taken the full fourth floor at No. 8 Princes Dock Pure Business Group appointed Penketh Group to carry out a £185,000 facelift.

The new office in Liverpool takes the law firm’s total number of sites to five and includes four managers’ offices, a canteen, an accounts office, a reception area, a 20-person boardroom and office space for 160 staff.

Included in the bespoke design was Penketh Group’s Workcafé concept – a dynamic space that connects people with their colleagues, their work and their organisation in an informal way.

As part of the project, Penketh Group also installed a bespoke kitchenette unit to service the boardroom, as well as an informal meeting space complete with a Harc unit, designed to offer privacy in an open-plan environment.

A state-of-the-art Mediascape system, which includes multi-way communication, was installed into the chief executive’s office.

Other products supplied by Penketh Group include innovative benching, ergonomic Think chairs and luxurious boardroom seating.

Also installed was a £40,000 AV solution, comprising of video conferencing, televisions, wireless presentation, a Clickshare collaboration system and ONELAN digital signage for the company’s meeting room.

Chris Penketh, sales director at Penketh Group, said: “Pure Business Group challenged us to create an inspiring workspace with the ‘wow’ factor. Having worked with the company before, we had a clear idea of their requirements and preferences, but we were able to implement a strategy to create something truly unique for the Liverpool site and we’re delighted with how it’s turned out.

“The staff now have a dynamic, practical and striking place to work in – one that encourages productivity and affords them the flexibility and space needed to do the best possible job.”

Penketh Group, which has offices in the Wirral and Manchester, works with clients to create stand-out working environments. Its service portfolio incorporates furniture and interiors, AV and technology, managed print solutions and business supplies.

Robert Mares, director and head of compliance at Pure Business Group, said: “The team at Penketh Group were fantastic from start to finish. We’ve always been impressed with their vision and professionalism and, with our latest office, they certainly didn’t disappoint. They’ve created a modern and colourful space that ticks all of our boxes and we’re all so proud to come into work and call it our ‘home from home’ each day.”
