German business signs up for Altrincham office space

Altrincham Business Park

CEG, represented by international real estate advisor Savills, has let office space at Altrincham Business Park to international firm Vorwerk.

The German business, which specialises in the direct distribution of various products including household appliances and cosmetics, has agreed a new five-year lease for the 2,579 sq ft (240 sq m) space at the park’s Edward Court.

CEG has managed a £1m refurbishment of the park, improving landscaping, refurbishing the onsite management office, upgrading office specification and will soon deliver a new café and gym.

The letting to Vorwerk follows a number of recently-completed deals, including Richard Allitt Associates, Mint Bridging and Markris Media.

Altrincham Business Park is the town’s most established business park, offering 85,000 sq ft (7,897 sq m) of developed self-contained office space.

Surrounded by an array of retail and leisure amenities, the park benefits from being only two miles from the town centre with convenient access to the nearest junctions of the M56 and M60.

Andrew Cooke, associate in the office agency team at Savills, said: “We’re really pleased to add to Altrincham Business Park’s recent string of lettings with this latest deal with Vorwerk.

“The major refurbishment has attracted a diverse range of occupiers and has underlined Altrincham as the leading business park in the area.”

Robert Morton, investment manager at CEG, said: “The refurbishment work has focused on providing a better environment for our customers.

“The new facilities, attractive environment and great space helps to attract and retain good staff, which is exactly what growing businesses need to thrive.

“As a result, we’ve seen a run of great lettings and look forward to welcoming Vorwerk to Altrincham Business Park.”

Robert Newton, operations manager at Vorwerk, added: “We are very excited to be joining the community and growing our business in the area.”
