Blueoak Estates reveals new chapter for iconic Christleton Hall

Christleton Hall

Chester-based luxury housebuilder, Blueoak Estates, is to transform a 1750 manor house into 14 luxury apartments.

Grade II-listed Christleton Hall, near Chester, is a former law college and historic manor house.

Blueoak said the redevelopment is aimed at the ‘right sizer’ market.

Iain MacLean, Blueoak managing director, said: “Christleton is an idyllic and picturesque village with homes in huge demand across all property types.

“Through our research we have identified a clear gap in the market where a quality development such as this would fit perfectly.

“This scheme will ultimately allow local people within Christelton to stay within their much-loved area but in a home that’s more suited to them in later years, and ultimately freeing up larger family homes for the next generation.”

Set in extensive private grounds, there are two parking spaces for each apartment with electric car charging points. Several of the homes have independent access while others benefit from private terraces and lift access.

The building enjoys masses of natural light as well as the exclusivity of being set within private grounds.

Iain added: “This is a wonderful building that is ready for the next phase in its evolution.

There is very little similar in terms of housing provision within this area and we believe that there will be strong uptake from the outset.”

Blueoak is looking to launch at Easter.
