New Egyptair route re-opens links between Manchester and Cairo

Egypt’s flag carrier, Egyptair, is to launch direct flights from Manchester to Cairo from July 15.

The route, opening up access to the Pyramids and Sphinx of Giza, makes Manchester the only city in the UK outside London to have a direct link to Egypt’s capital. It has not been served from Manchester since the summer of 2015.

Flights will be operated five times weekly, every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, departing at 14:30 from Manchester.

Egyptair will operate the service with its B737-800NG aircraft, which accommodates 154 passengers, including a business class product.
