Property round-up: UKFast buys at Cobra Court; and more

WEB housing company UKFast has bought three office buildings totaling 14,180 sq ft on the Cobra Court scheme at Trafford Park.
Cobra Court is home to over 22 occupiers including DHL, Wimpy, M247, Austin Trumanns and Kellogg’s. The park was developed by Yorkshire-based Commercial Development Projects, but UKFast bought its properties from another occupier.
Simon Marshall, managing director of Commercial Development Projects, said: “Cobra Court Park is constructed to an excellent standard. We believe occupiers appreciate the quality of our buildings and common areas when compared to what else is available in the current market place. Recent occupier success substantiates this belief.”
The sale was handled by DTZ, which is joint letting agent at the park alongside JLL. Office agency director Rob Yates said: “We have one building remaining offering a self-contained occupancy of 5,000 sq ft. The accommodation is ready for immediate occupation and is available to buy or lease at £150 and £13.50 per sq ft respectively.”

THE North West Industrial Agency team at CBRE has completed two deals at Wirral International Business Park, Bromborough.
Acting on behalf of Life Technologies, CBRE has completed the sale of a 13,460 sq ft facility at 11 Bassendale Road. The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has bought the space for a new Pathology lab.
In a separate deal, CBRE has also let a 3,000 sq ft industrial unit on the Woodway Court scheme to Wirral Autistic Society. The charity has acquired the space on a new five-year lease.
Darren Hill, senior surveyor of Industrial Agency at CBRE, said: “We are delighted to have completed two deals in Bromborough in quick succession.
“11 Bassendale Road was a bespoke building, which was originally purpose built for our client to include laboratory and office accommodation, so it was particularly pleasing to secure a deal so quickly.”
He continued: “Each of these deals provides further evidence that, for the right buildings, occupiers are willing to progress with property transactions despite adverse market conditions.”
