Crewe warehouse changes hands for £2.7m

FOOD group Fayrefield has bought a warehouse at Crewe’s Marshfield Bank Industrial Estate for £2.7m.
The business, which is based in the town, has acquired a long lease on the 72,625 sq ft Linea House from Treadneedle Investments.
The Warehouse also has a three-storey office block and parking for 22 cars.
Savills acted for Threadneedle. Industrial director Jonathan Atherton said: “Crewe continues to attract first rate occupiers and the new facility for Fayrefield Foods will be a welcome addition to the town.”
Fayrefield describes itself as a specialist in dairy brand management, innovation, food technologies and product development, with sales of around £260m.
