Food supplier EHL looks for more space

FAMILY-owned food supplier EHL Ingredients is looking to buy a warehouse close to its existing facility in Reddish, Stockport.

The company said it wanted 6-10,000 sq ft to house ingredient blending machines as well as storage space for packaging materials and dry food ingredients.

EHL supplies a range of more than 300 products from all over the world to the food manufacturing industry including spices, seasoning, herbs, seeds and dried fruits, nuts, lentils and vegetables.

Sales director, Tasneem Backhouse, said: “We are in the process of reviewing facilities on the Broadstone Industrial Estate but we are open to enquiries from warehouses around the Reddish, Stockport area.

“We will use the new site mainly for storage of packing and packaging materials and dry ingredients, such as dried fruits and nuts in larger quantities. We also plan to install a new industrial dry ingredient blender and machinery for our packed down facility for own label clients.”

The firm employs 22 staff and has annual sales of £5m.
