Lettings latest: International Game Technology moves to MediaCityUK, and more

GAMING machine firm International Game Technology (IGT) has taken 12,600 sq ft of office space at The Peel Group’s Quay West in MediaCityUK.

The US company has taken a 10-year lease and will be located on the first floor of the building which is next to the Imperial War Museum North.

IGT bought Ashton-under-Lyne-based Barcrest Group for £35m two years ago and is now relocating from the town.

Robert Stecker, director of global facilities and real estate IGT said: “Relocating IGT’s Manchester offices to Quay West and being part of the growing MediaCityUK project is very exciting, It is a great location for us and we look forward to all that the area has to offer.”

COMMERCIAL Estates Group (CEG), represented jointly by international real estate advisor Savills and Canning O’Neill, has let space at Jackson House in Sale to US engineer Dresser-Rand.

It has relocated its office from Manchester Airport and has agreed to a five-year lease on 2,712 sq ft.

PROPERTY fund manager Highcross has signed CED Claim Experts and Bakery Works to its Deva City Office Park in Salford.

CED Claim Experts has taken 2,070 sq ft on the first floor on a three-year lease, with Bakery Works taking 1,360 sq ft, also on a three-year lease, in one of the modern self-contained Brewery Yard suites comprising, ground floor show room and office to the first floor.

Richard Pellatt, who leads Highcross’ Northern office team, said: “We are delighted to welcome our new tenants. The works have already proven to be a sound investment with the recent run of lettings testament to this and we have a further two deals currently in solicitor’s hands.”
