FK Group buys Lawson House
BUILDING firm FK Group has acquired Lawson House in Altrincham for £1.1m.
It has bought the 11,000 sq ft building in Stockport Road from Standard Life Investments.
In December the firm will move its 40 staff from Keenan House in Barlow Road, Levenshulme to the new site where AEW Architects has been hired to carry out a complete refurbishment.
Managing director Francis Keenan said: “After more than 30 years of successful trading, we had outgrown our previous building in Levenshulme and needed a more efficient building with better amenities for our staff.
“CBRE worked closely with us to ensure that all of our requirements were met and we are very excited about this new move, which represents an important milestone in the company’s history.”
Canning O’Neill represented Standard Life Investments, while CBRE acted for FK which took legal advice from Manchester-based Kuits Solicitors.
