Liverpool Novotel under offer

THE Novotel in Liverpool’s Hanover Street is under offer at £12.3m, around £6m lower than the original asking price.

The 209-bed hotel was first put on the market in 2012 by Pedersen Hotels at £18m. Its ownership vehicle Pedersen (Liverpool) went into administration last year, handled by Northampton firm Chantrey Vellacott DFK

The four-star venue has continued to trade under a lease agreement with French operator Accor.

According to Savills’ website the building is under offer but the identity of the buyer was not disclosed. The agent handling the sale could not be reached for comment.

The 12-storey hotel is close to Liverpol One and has a restaurant, bar, swimming pool, sauna and gym.
