Glitzy Christie ball almost sold out

CANCER charity The Christie’s star-studded annual ball is on course for a sell-out.

The event takes place on Saturday March 7 at Manchester Cathedral and boasts a line-up including American R&B and dance music star Jocelyn Brown and Britain’s Got Talent winners and number one selling musical group Collabro.

Guests will be treated to a four-course meal designed by award-winning  Michelin starred chef, Jean Christophe-Novelli.

BBC Breakfast’s Bill Turnbull, a supporter of the charity, will host and XFM presenter Gareth Brooks, who has been treated at The Christie, will be DJ-ing.

Supported by Simplyhealth, all proceeds from the event will go towards a research room in The Christie’s new Proton Beam Therapy Centre at Withington, Manchester, which is due to open in 2018.

Only four tables remain to be sold for the ball. Stephen Anderson, campaigns and events manager at The Christie charity, said: “The ball is a wonderful way to support The Christie and have a fantastic night out.”

TheBusinessDesk.com is delighted to be a media partner at the event.
