Liverpool FC out to install extra seating

LIVERPOOL Football Club has applied for permission to expand its main stand at Anfield to accommodate more than 13,500 seats.

The full planning application also includes conference and banqueting fracilties for an 8,300 additional fans in the Main Stand.

A further 4,800 seats are planned for the Anfield Road Stand.

There will also be accommodation and facilities for players, officials, media and the LFC club shop in addtion to car parking for more than 60 vehicles.

The application lodged with the city council also covers improvements to local roads, public realm and a newoutside broadcast area.
