New insurance arm pays off for building contractor

THE new insurance arm of building contractor Frank Rogers has hit revenues of £1m in its first five months.

Launched in November, Frank Rogers Insurance Services already sits on four major insurance company frameworks, focusing on residential and commercial building repairs across the North West.

Mark Wink has joined Frank Rogers to head up the division, his team are already making a significant impact.

Wink said: “There is a clear synergy between insurance type work and the services that Frank Rogers already deliver. It’s a clear case of transferring existing skills and experiences onto another sector and I’m pleased to be able to say that the insurance companies have welcomed us.

“Frank Rogers have over 40 years’ experience in the planned and responsive maintenance sector and are very much in tune with working to a set of strict guidelines and procedures. We are making a lot of headway quickly and there are lots of exciting opportunities ahead for 2016.”

Insurance works predominantly sit under fire damage and natural disasters and include a range of internal and external repairs for both commercial and residential buildings.

Dean Rogers, managing director of Frank Rogers said: “This is an area that we’ve been considering expanding into for some time and it’s been a really positive move for us. Using Mark’s contacts and understanding of the industry combined with our internal infrastructure and background, I believe we can make a really strong headway into this market.”
