Luxury homes in sought-after city suburb in demand

DEMAND is reported to be high for a development of luxury family homes in the leafy Manchester suburb of Didsbury.

PH Homes’ exclusive Hayescroft development says almost three quarters of the homes sold off plan.

The collection of 17 detached and semi-detached homes, with prices from £875,000, is the latest scheme being developed by the celebrated Cheadle, Greater Manchester-based housebuilder.

The development off Palatine Road at the end of a long private drive the homes at Hayescroft are situated in eight-acres of private grounds part of which is a designated site of special biological importance.

The five and six bedroom homes have been inspired by the past and the architecture has taken its style from the grand Victorian villas that characterise the village of Didsbury.

The homes are named after famous Mancunians from the world of art, sport, science and politics – including The Lowry, The Chetham and The Dalton.

Philip Hughes, managing director of PH Homes, said: “Hayescroft is proving to be extremely popular with people looking for a larger sized family home in Didsbury. The village is extremely popular and Hayescroft provides a unique opportunity to purchase a home in a beautiful setting close to the heart of this vibrant village.

“It’s our goal to build homes that are not just beautiful to look at and built to exceptional standards but are safe, secure, economical to run, kind to the environment and flexible enough to cope with the changing needs of family life.”

The first residents are set to move into their new homes this month and construction is due to complete in March 2017.
