Financial advisory firm launches Cheltenham office

Cooper Associates Group, the South-West-based financial advisory firm, has opened the doors to its new office in Cheltenham.

The open evening, which was hosted by rugby player Mike Tindall, gave the Cooper Associates team the chance to introduce themselves to the local area and showcase their new premises.

The business was founded 14 years ago by Lee Cooper.

In 2022, the business acquired financial associate firm Pengilly Cox, welcoming four new employees.

Chief executive officer Samantha Jackson has ambitious growth plans for 2023, with aims to grow the company by 20 per cent and welcome new members to the team through the Cooper Associates training programme.

The trainee mortgage adviser programme has a strong track record of developing second careerists, with no previous advisory experience, into mortgage advisers. Further expansion into Gloucestershire will enable these plans to come to fruition.

Jackson said: “We’re incredibly excited to be present in Cheltenham. This new office marks the start of a brilliant new step in the business’s journey, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for Cooper Associates in Cheltenham and the surrounding areas.
