Workplace design company completes law firm’s offices

Bath-based workplace design company Interaction has completed the design of the Manchester office for law firm TLT in one of the UK’s most sustainable office buildings.
TLT has taken over the top two floors of the 12-storey Eden building in Salford which features Europe’s biggest living façade. The exterior of the building boasts more than 350,000 plants which help to reduce air pollution and urban temperatures in the city centre.
TLT’s new 20,000sq ft Eden office has been designed by Interaction to promote sustainable working and wellbeing among the firm’s 200-plus employees in the city.
The office includes shared desks, solo and dual seating, group project rooms, noise isolating office pods, client meeting rooms and boardrooms. There is also a coffee bar and barista, as well as a wellbeing room.
Reclaimed lighting systems from former British factory buildings and RAF bases have also been used throughout the Eden office.
As well as its new Manchester base, Interaction has designed a number of other workplaces for TLT since 2000 including the law firm’s offices in Glasgow, Belfast and Bristol.
James Chadwick, partner and head of location in Manchester at TLT, said: “The feedback from all at TLT on our new office in Eden has been phenomenal. Eden provides the perfect space to allow clients and colleagues to collaborate, whilst blending time working from home with time working in the office. As ever, Interaction’s attention to detail has been perfect, with the project managed to the highest standard.”
Liesl Wherry, creative lead at Interaction, said: “We’re proud to have delivered this exciting new workplace for TLT in one of the UK’s greenest buildings. It showcases perfectly the firm’s people-centric values and its commitment to sustainability and employee wellbeing.”
