Law firm extends reach with new Bristol and Swindon offices

Law firm Buckles is extending its reach, opening offices in Bristol and Swindon, with more than 30 staff split equally across these new locations also joining the firm.

The firm is building on its ambitious growth strategy that returned a record £14.8m annual revenue in March 2023.

In addition, the firm has made a number of senior appointments to help manage the expected influx of new work, with partner Natasha Bliss heading the new Bristol office and partner Andrew James leading the team at Swindon.

The team in Bristol is bolstered by the arrival of Janine Harris, a partner in the commercial property team and Kerry Graham, a partner in the family law team.

Buckles chief executive Duncan Jackson said: “To maintain our upward growth trajectory, it’s important for us to reflect our ambition and seize these opportunities that appear quickly, with so much growth potential on offer.

“The new offices not only extend our reach into areas in which the team we have recruited are already well known, but the reputations they have developed for the quality of their work over a long time, ensuring we are confident of seeing a quick return on our investment.

“The new teams in Bristol and Swindon will offer a broad mix of legal services, including Dispute Resolution, Private Client, Property (both commercial and residential) and Family Law, whilst creating the opportunity to offer all our areas of expertise to the growing client base.

“This move brings the unique Buckles approach to a new audience along the M4 corridor and into the South West, making it another big step towards our self-imposed £30m revenue target, to ensure we continue to thrive in the rapidly changing legal marketplace.”
