Land promotion firm on hunt for development partner after council green lights housing scheme

Strategic land promotion company Richborough Estates has secured planning consent for a development of 131 homes at Hampton Magna in Warwickshire and is now looking for a developer to bring forward the scheme.
The outline application for the 17.23 acre site, accessed from the existing Daly Avenue, was granted by Warwickshire County Council.
The landscape-led design includes provision for up to 131 dwellings, 40% of which will be affordable, with some four acres of the site given over for the delivery of green infrastructure including open space, allotments and a children’s play area.
Martyn Grimes, Richborough Estates, said: “The site occupies a sustainable location and the landscape-led design gives significant focus to open spaces and green boulevards, ensuring a ‘soft edge’ to the development and one that aligns with the existing settlement.
“This development site represents a logical extension to Hampton Magna, with the capacity to deliver a broad selection of styles and type of homes, including custom or self-build properties.
“We are now seeking expressions of interest from developers looking for opportunities to deliver high quality homes in a well-defined and well-connected urban setting.”
Richborough Estates was supported by David Barnes of Star Planning who led in the delivery of the planning process.
