Bromsgrove employment land comes to the market

A LARGE parcel of employment-zoned land near Bromsgrove has come to the market.
It will form phase two of the development of Corbett Business Park in Stoke Prior, which is three miles to the south of Bromsgrove and two miles from J5 of the M5.
Historically the site was part of Stoke Prior Salt Works, which John Corbett – known as “The Salt King” – “reinvigorated in the 1850s.
More recently the site was owned by ICI and then Bayer.
Now the site’s current owner – Commercial Property Bromsgrove – is keen to reinvigorate the scheme through a second phase of development.
Phase one comprise an office building and two warehouses, all of which are occupied.
The site is designated employment land for B1, B2 and B8 development and will be available for sale or to let on a design and build basis.
There are currently 14 acres remaining on the site for development. The site is bordered by the Worcester and Birmingham Canal on the eastern side and the mainline railway line to the west.
The owners are hoping to take advantage of the fact that the nearby Saxon is nearing full site capacity.
Bromsgrove-based Ravensbury Property Management will be marketing the scheme.
