Finance company agrees let on new city centre offices

Canmoor's Livery Place

Finance company Everyday Loans has agreed a new letting on offices in Birmingham city centre.

The firm has agreed a 10-year lease for 2,377 sq ft of ground floor space at Canmoor’s Livery Place.

The deal follows other recent lettings at the 59,848 sq ft office development, including those for Switch Consulting and Chapman BDSP.

It comes as Canmoor is investing in a programme of improvement works at the property, including an upgrade of the reception area, now underway.

Canmoor was represented jointly by Savills and CBRE.

Joe Shorney, senior surveyor in the office agency team at Savills Birmingham, said: “The recent series of lettings at Livery Place are testament to its reputation as one of Birmingham’s key city centre office buildings, combining refurbished Grade A space with a sought after business district location.  Everyday Loans will be a strong addition to the mix of small and multinational companies which already occupy space within the building.”

Toby Saul, asset manager at Canmoor, said: “The continued letting success at Livery Place justifies our significant investment in the building.”

Canmoor is now trying to find tenants for the remaining 6,000 sq ft of space, which ranges from  office suites of 898 sq ft to 5,000 sq ft.

Everyday Loans was represented by Martin Burke Associates.

Andrew Wayland, group head of marketing at Everyday Loans, added: “The newly relocated Birmingham branch will allow us to provide a direct lending experience with a personalised service for our customers in the surrounding area.”
