Expansion pays dividend for property group as turnover rise a third

Organic growth and the provision of new services has boosted annual turnover by more than one third at Birmingham independent commercial property agency KWB.

Best known for its West Midlands’ office agency and professional work, in the past 12 months KWB has launched an industrial agency and grown its Property Management, Corporate Cleaning and Workplace divisions.

The expansion proved crucial in the development of the business as turnover increased from £2.2m to almost £3m.

“KWB now has one of the most comprehensive and integrated services offered by any Birmingham commercial property agency,” said KWB director John Bryce.

“We don’t just advise on and manage all aspects of office and industrial property, but via our specialist KWB Workplace division we also provide a unique identification, acquisition, design, fit-out and moving service for offices, while KWB Corporate Cleaning provides commercial office cleaning and washroom services.

“This integrated approach is working for us and for our growing number of clients.  We are experiencing strong growth which is set to continue.”

In June 2016, KWB, which also has an office in Solihull, launched an Industrial Agency division headed by Kenny Allan and followed this last month with the launch of a new property management receivership and insolvency service, facilitated by its acquisition of Worcestershire commercial property management firm David J Price & Associates.
