Manufacturer agrees relocation deal after outgrowing existing premises

A Warwickshire property company has attracted a nationwide manufacturer to relocate to one of its business parks.
AC Lloyd, based in Leamington Spa, has signed a deal with the iLECSYS Group, which will see the company relocate to its six-acre site on Kites Park in Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire.
iLECSYS is relocating from its current site in Tring, which has been its home for the last 15 years. Fifty members of staff from Tring will be making the move to the new factory in due course.
iLECSYS is a multi-disciplined business working predominantly within the electrical control sector across many different sectors. Its main sectors include electrical distribution products, rail, hazardous area, engineering and sheet metal fabrication.
Des Wynne, director at AC Lloyd, said the deal meant only the final two-acre phase of the site was now available.
“The iLECSYS Group has built a strong reputation over the last two decades in a number of sectors particularly as a specialist manufacturer of products for the rail industry,” he said.
“Their new unit at Kites Park will provide all the state-of-the-art facilities they need to continue to grow the business.
“The move brings a very highly-regarded company to the site and we have significant interest in the final phase, having sold a previous phase to GKL Leasing.”
Grace Tipson, managing director of the iLECSYS Group, said the move had been forced on the company due to the lack of capacity at its current premises.
“After 20 years of consecutive growth this was the right time to expand our capabilities and production facilities,” she said.
“We have been looking for new premises for some time and looked at many sites before AC Lloyd and Minns Network Developments satisfied us that it was the place to go.”
She said the new facility meant the firm could extend its manufacturing and production operations; a move vital if the business was to meet the needs of its customers with larger projects.
“Moving to the new production, warehouse and administrative building will also allow us to bring together all our manufacturing disciplines under one roof including sheet metal fabrication, welding, milling, turning, machining and the assembly of all types of enclosures including stainless steel so we will be able to increase productivity within an energy efficient, high quality industrial unit,” she added.
DBK and Bidwells acted as agents for AC Lloyd.
