Logistics group’s expansion to create 30 jobs

An automotive logistics business is expanding its operation in the West Midlands in a move that could create 30 jobs.

BCA Logistics is opening a new office at Birmingham Business Park in an expansion of its inspection services and logistics division.

The new office will accommodate up to 300 staff and support both current and future growth of its business and customer base. The new jobs will be phased in over the course of the next year.

BCA Logistics is the UK’s largest automotive vehicle inspection and collection business, operating an in-house team of 1,750 collection drivers, 155 vehicle inspectors, supported by an owned fleet of in excess of 750 vehicles transporters. The company handles more than 550,000 vehicle movements and 300,000 inspections per year.

BCA Logistics works with companies ranging from automotive manufacturers, leasing and finance companies, to franchise and independent dealers. It provides a full range of services with vehicle inspections, collection and deliveries, vehicle demonstrations and refurbishment.
