It’s a snip as investors snap up former hairdressers’ offices

9 The Courtyard, Buntsford Drive, Bromsgrove

Property investors have acquired a two-storey office building in Bromsgrove after its former owner relocated its headquarters.

The 1,580 sq ft building at 9 The Courtyard, Buntsford Drive, was owned by Elliott Reeve, which operates a chain of 15 ladies’ hairdressing salons and men’s barbers in the East Midlands and the north of London.

The firm has quit Bromsgrove to move its headquarters closer to the M1 corridor and its network of salons.

Commercial property consultancy GJS Dillon acted for Elliott Reeve on the deal.

Commercial negotiator Charlie Green brokered the sale to a private investor for £245,000.

“It is quite unusual for a company to be leaving Bromsgrove, as it is such a great business location, but Elliott Reeve has a very good reason,” said Mrs Green. “It’s no surprise that, even with vacant possession, Unit 9 has been snapped up by an investor, as many companies are looking to expand within, or relocate to Bromsgrove.”
