Jobs created as Mercedes-Benz ‘Centre of Excellence’ launches

More than 30 jobs have been created with the launch of a Mercedes-Benz ‘Centre of Excellence’ in Erdington, Birmingham.

Occupying a six-acre site, Mercedes-Benz of Erdington is an approved used car retail space with a bespoke used car preparation centre.

Launched by LSH Auto, the new site on Bromford Lane includes a purpose-built after-sales facility.

The site, which has created 32 jobs, is able to display over 200 vehicles showcasing 50 models in its showroom and a further 150 vehicles outside. There will also be 12 workshop bays.

Aiden Perris, general manager at Mercedes-Benz of Erdington, said: “Our Centre of Excellence, here in Erdington, will be a must-visit destination for new and returning customers alike. With industry-first facilities, it will provide a state-of-the-art hub for professional after-sales care and world-class service, and of course a collection of more than 200 approved used cars of all ages.

“We are creating a destination, which is unparalleled to anything else in the area, offering customers and the general public an opportunity to experience Mercedes-Benz and LSH under one roof.”
