Housebuilder looks for growth with latest Midlands office

Housebuilder Elan Homes has launched a new regional office in Coleshill as it looks to expand its footprint in the Midlands.

The Cheshire-based company planned the launch in 2018, and brought regional managing director David Summers in to head the new site. His team of 18 includes sales director Tracey Ball and land director John Brown. There are plans to grow the division to 20 by the end of the year.

Elan Homes operates across the North West, South West and Midlands regions of England and in Wales.

Elan’s Midlands Division is currently selling homes at St Thomas Priory in Baswich, Walcot Meadow, Drakes Broughton, with a further Worcestershire site coming soon in Stableford.

“We’re looking to grow the business and the brand and the Midlands will play a pivotal role in that. Elan is in a strong position to fill a gap in the housing market by creating schemes of 15 to 120 units in sustainable locations.” David said.

“We want to establish Elan as one of the key players in the region both in terms of aspirational private sale properties and regeneration opportunities by forming strong contacts and working collaboratively with land owners and local authorities.”

John Kendrick, managing director of the Elan Homes Group, said: “The formation of the Midlands Division is part of our strategic plan to grow the business by moving into new areas and delivering much needed new homes to help tackle the housing shortage.

“David brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that will help shape the future of the Elan brand in the Midlands. We have every confidence that Elan will be as well regarded in the Midlands as it is in other areas where we operate.”
