Cladding up at St. Modwen’s Worcester scheme

St. Modwen is delivering its industrial and logistics growth plans with the start of cladding for three industrial and logistics units at its Nunnery Park development in Worcester.

Three units totalling 94,545 sq ft forms part of the final phase of construction at the site. The site once complete will comprise 20-acres and is expected to create more than 130 jobs.

Nunnery Park is already home to several businesses including UK Storage Company, Auto Support and Supra UK.

Once complete, the units comprising of 48,000 sq ft, 19,010 sq ft and 27,525 sq ft will expand the employment-led, mixed-use development’s offer, with the largest warehouse boasting five dock level doors, a 10m haunch height and close to 40 car parking spaces.

With work now underway on the scheme, the new industrial units are expected to be ready for occupation in Spring 2020.

James Irwin-Singer, development director at St. Modwen Industrial & Logistics, said: “The three new units contribute to the final phase of the wider scheme comprising of 55,000 sq ft of industrial and logistics space. The final phase shows the continual investment from St. Modwen into the needs of potential occupiers while expanding the current offering at the site.

“The final phase will add to the excellently located and high-quality warehousing and industrial space which has already been delivered at Nunnery Park.”
