Agent appointed to £5.6m property portfolio

Bond Wolfe Commercial has been instructed to sell a private property investor’s portfolio of 14 West Midlands properties spread across Birmingham and the Black Country.

The properties range from shops to flats to ground rents, and include 23 commercial units and 32 residential units with a total sales value of £5,640,000.

James Mattin, chief executive of Bond Wolfe, said: “We are instructed to sell this portfolio either as a whole or individually by negotiation.

“Clearly, there is a major opportunity here to capitalise on the appetite for investment in the West Midlands.

“As can be seen in the regular 200 plus lots auctions held by our auction team, the appetite for regional investments is keen. It is unusual for this type of mixed use portfolio to come to the market and we are already seeing strong interest.”

The portfolio includes Birmingham properties in Kings Heath, Moseley and Great Barr, and Black Country properties in Dudley, West Bromwich, Bearwood, Walsall, Cradley Heath, Tipton and Wednesbury, with one further property in Sutton Coldfield.

The 23 commercial and 32 residential properties currently produce a total of £376,392 rental income a year.
