Solihull to get new 24-hour gym
Solihull is set for a new 24-hour health club, with Anytime Fitness to take over the site previously occupied by Energie Fitness in Mell Square Shopping Centre.
Due to open in May, Anytime Fitness Solihull will provide 24-hour access to the local community as well as dedicated functional, free weights and cardio training areas, private changing facilities and group exercise classes (currently permitted to resume from 17 May under Government guidelines). The club is also able to provide free parking in Mell Square.
Members will also benefit from Anytime Fitness’ “join one, join all” benefit which allows access to all 175+ UK clubs and 4,500+ worldwide locations with their access fob.
The new club is owned by local entrepreneur Shaquille Pabani who has made a “significant” investment to breathe new life into the vacant site. As well as providing a supportive and welcoming health club for the local area, Anytime Fitness Solihull says it will create several new full-time and part-time employment opportunities for people in and around Solihull.
“As someone living in Solihull, I’m delighted to be able to open an Anytime Fitness health club for the local area,” said Paban.
He added “I’m keen to put community at the heart of our proposition and create a welcoming and supportive environment for people of all ages and fitness levels”.
