Plans for a huge residential scheme in Birmingham that could reach almost 100 metres high have been revealed.

Lower Essex Limited wants to build 642 apartments across three blocks at the junction of Lower Essex Street and Hurst Street. The buildings would be 27, 12 and 8 floors high and have been designed by Claridge Architects.

The scheme will also feature commercial space on the ground floor and include a new public square and pedestrian boulevard.
