Plans for major mixed-use scheme in Digbeth revealed

How the scheme would look

Plans for a major mixed-use scheme in Digbeth, which could rise up to 21 floors in height, have been brought forward by developer Prosperity.

Plans for the scheme include around 650 apartments over five blocks on two plots on land surrounded by Bradford Street, Barford Street and Rea Street. Ten commercial units, totalling over 300,000 sq ft will also be included in the scheme, along with a landscaped courtyard.

The plans don’t include resident car parking and will be made up of 1- and 2-bed flats and feature roof gardens, 364 cycle spaces and public and private external spaces.

The development in being designed by Glancy Nicholls.
