Building services provider doubles footprint in Solihull

Birmingham-based property investor, Colmore Capital, has secured a new lease at its Quartz Point Business Park in Solihull to current tenant and building services provider Briggs & Forrester Group.
The company has occupied space at Quartz Point since 2014 and intends to integrate two adjoining units to deliver a 5,400 sq ft office.
Guy Revell, investment associate at Colmore Capital said: “We always seek to build close relationships with our customers so we can work collaboratively with them when an opportunity such as this arises. We knew Briggs & Forrester wanted to expand its footprint at the Park and it’s been great to work with a busy and growing office, especially in what has been a tough period for so many businesses.”
“Our experience to date is that occupiers want a hands-on landlord that listens to them and works to facilitate their plans for growth.”
With 10 offices across the UK and an annual turnover in excess of £260m, Briggs & Forrester first established an office at Quartz Point in 2014, when they signed a lease on one of 12 units at the Park.
Adrian Nicholls, regional director at Briggs & Forrester Group, said: “The increase in office space is reflective of our regional growth over the past 8 years. Being located at Quartz Point since 2014, we have grown from 7 to circa 90 staff and the resources of Colmore Capital to support this dynamic growth has been crucial. We now look forward to providing our staff with a great new environment to return to the office environment following the recent challenges of the pandemic, in a safe and coherent manner.”
Revell added: “A key element of our approach is that we see and treat our tenants as our customers. Through continued communication and collaboration, we deliver high levels of customer service that has a demonstrable impact for organisations such as Briggs & Forrester when considering an expansion or relocation.”
“It’s been very rewarding to support the growth of Briggs & Forrester in the Midlands since they moved into Quartz Point. A new occupier for the park is currently fitting-out Briggs & Forrester’s recently-vacated office and we look forward to continuing to support the growth of UK businesses at an attractive Midlands location.”
