Jobs lost as joinery and fit-out firm sold out of administration

Some 35 jobs have been lost at a Dudley fit-out firm.

Zero Point Eight, which operated from a 30,000 sq ft site, has ceased trading, with all jobs lost before administrators from FRP were called in on June on June 6.

FRP has since secured a buyer for the assets of the business in Aspen Concepts of Cradley Heath.

In its latest available accounts, made up to the end of July 2021, Zero Point Eight was owed just over £1.4m by creditors and assets of almost £700,000.

Aspen Concepts was set up in 2007 as a joinery manufacturer and fit-out company. It employs 140 people and has its head office in Swindon, with its main manufacturing plant in Cradley Heath.
