Lidl to submit plans for new store

Lidl GB , has announced plans for a new store on Bushbury Lane in Wolverhampton.
The multimillion-pound investment will create around 40 jobs.
The proposals seek to redevelop the former Strykers Bowling Alley, a site that has been vacant since 2013. A planning application is currently being prepared by the retailer and is set to be submitted in the coming weeks.
Lidl GB’s regional head of property, Iain Ross, said: “We are delighted to announce ourplans to deliver a new Lidl store in Wolverhampton. For almost 10 years this site has remainedvacant, and we are excited by the prospect of turning this into a successful and thriving local hubonce again. Our plans will see the creation of around 40 new jobs and represent a substantialeconomic contribution to the community.
