Property development group makes trio of hires

A property development group has made three appointments to support its growth and has committed to supporting staff in completing key industry qualifications.

Warwickshire Property & Development Group (WPDG) has appointed Chris John, Mandeep Padan and Sanna Lone as it continues to expand.

The organisation, which was launched by Warwickshire County Council in 2021, has bolstered three of its departments – property development, asset management and finance.

John joins the company as property officer.

Padanhas been recruited to expand the asset management team as asset manager. She has seven years’ experience working in asset management and will be supported by WPDG to gain Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) accreditation.

Lone completed the trio of additions and has been appointed as finance analyst.

WPDG was formed in 2021 to realise the potential of development sites, commercial buildings and mineral rights across Warwickshire.

Warwickshire Property Management (WPM) part of WPDG also manages the lettings on hundreds of Warwickshire County Council-owned properties that have been let to third parties, such as farms, commercial units, surplus properties, schools and country parks.

Stuart Buckley, managing director of WPDG, said: “We are committed to providing opportunities and development for young people and it is fantastic to welcome three new appointments, all of which have ambitions to complete industry leading qualifications with WPDG.

“It is set to be a busy second half of the year for WPDG, as we start to see more developments get underway on site and achieve key milestones with planning applications for other developments.
“Our asset management business is also thriving, with a range of short and long-term letting agreements completed in recent weeks.

“Chris, Mandeep and Sanna are great additions to our team and we look forward to supporting their professional development.”
