Private investor snaps up trade counter unit

Investment specialists at Harris Lamb’s Telford office have recently sold a trade counter unit in an off-market deal.

The deal saw the 4,266 sq ft trade counter opportunity, Unit B4 at Stafford Park 4, sold for an undisclosed sum to a private local investor.

Currently occupied by Brandon Hire, the existing lease on the property expires in March 2030.

Mark Linning, who handled the sale, said: “Stafford Park is arguably the most established trade counter location in Telford, with other occupiers including Screwfix, Toolstation, Howdens, Topps Tiles and Clifton Bathrooms.

‘’The estate is easily accessible from Junction 4 and Junction 5 of the M54 Motorway, with prominence to Stafford Park 1, the main thoroughfare through Stafford Park Industrial Estate, and the new owner, a local investor, recognised the opportunity as a prime building for similar trade counter operators seeking a well-appointed unit of this size and nature.

“There is a healthy appetite within the investment market for premises let to good covenants occupying prime locations within the Telford area, as demonstrated by this particular sale.”
