Leonard Curtis expanding with new Stoke office

Leonard Curtis, the Manchester-based professional services group, is opening a Stoke office as the fast-growing company continues to expand its business support offering.

Acquiring prime office space on Festival Park, Leonard Curtis Stoke will provide guidance for SMEs and their advisers, particularly in Staffordshire, Cheshire and Shropshire – with the new base bolstering the brand’s regional footprint and bridging the gap between offices in Manchester and Birmingham.

Leonard Curtis Stoke will be led by Chris Knott, a director with more than 14 years of experience in business turnaround, restructuring and insolvency.

Drawing on its three pillars of expertise – restructuring and insolvency, funding, and legal services – Leonard Curtis offers resolutions to challenges faced by business owners.

The office is set up to provide guidance to SMEs at just the right time, as businesses look to navigate a number of current challenges, including higher interest rates, cost of living pressures and a greater reluctance to lend from high street banks.

Chris, who has lived and worked within Staffordshire and Cheshire all his life, said: “The local area is a fantastic place to work with some amazing local businesses.

“I am proud to be opening the new office and to be bringing such a reputable, respected and industry-leading business solutions firm to the area.”

He added: “There are thousands of local businesses at various stages in their lifecycle, and with the current economic perfect storm creating hurdles for businesses across all sectors, it has never been more important to be there to support local businesses and their owners.

“As Leonard Curtis Stoke lead, I will be a familiar face to many – known for offering pragmatic solutions and expert advice that takes the burden away from local business owners. I have worked with many local businesses over the years and strive to provide the very best service.”

Andrew Poxon, head of Leonard Curtis’s North West and Scotland divisions, said: “Leonard Curtis currently assists many businesses within Staffordshire and Cheshire, and whilst we are known to many in the region, having the physical presence makes it easier for us to assist local businesses faster and more effectively.

“This move shows how Leonard Curtis will be actively investing in the region – not only with the new office, but also in creating jobs as the team grows.”
