Advisory firm expands into East Midlands

Advisory firm Marktlink has expanded its Midlands team by hiring M&A director Alex Thompson and M&A consultant, Hamish Moore.

Last November, the firm expanded into the Midlands after opening an office in Birmingham city centre.

Now, the company has opened an East Midlands office on Pegasus Business Park in Nottingham.

The Nottingham office marks Marktlink’s seventeenth location and the third in the UK, following Manchester and Birmingham.

Thompson brings over twelve years of experience in working with owner-managed and private equity-backed businesses.

With expertise in TMT, business services, and industrials, he will spearhead Marktlink’s expansion efforts in the Midlands region, focusing on creating value for business owners seeking corporate transactions.

Bringing seven years of experience, including roles at BDO and EY, Moore joins Marktlink from Credit Suisse, where he served as an equity research associate.
