Baked in Brick opens fifth café-style venue in Birmingham

Baked in Brick has launched a new Bakehouse location in the Jewellery Quarter, marking its fifth café-style venue in just two years.

The new spot joins the existing Bakehouses in Sutton Coldfield, Wylde Green, Broad Street, and Digbeth.

The menu offers the signature fare fans expect, featuring sandwiches made with house-made sourdough and a selection of fresh artisanal breads, including Bloomers, Rolls, Focaccia, and tin loaves.

Guests can also enjoy a variety of pastries, cakes, and other baked treats, as well as hot options like hearty soups and toasties.

The space is perfect for catching up with friends or for hybrid workers looking for a cosy, vibrant atmosphere.

Designed by Mathilde le Villain, founder of the award-winning LA VILLAINE design studio, the Bakehouse interior exudes a stylish, welcoming vibe.

Local chalk artist, Cali Martin of Magic Chalks added finishing touches with custom artwork throughout the venue.

Lee DeSanges, owner and director of the Baked in Brick group, said: “We’re so proud to have opened our fifth location in Birmingham. We’re looking forward to Bakehouse becoming part of the Jewellery Quarter community and welcoming residents and visitors to the area to try our signature bakes.”
