Green light for £3.5m logistics warehouse
Plans for a £3.5m industrial and logistics warehouse, “Nuneaton 37,” at Bermuda Park in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, have received approval from Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council.
Developed by Tungsten Properties, an industrial developer, the 36,730 sq ft warehouse will be built to BREEAM Very Good and EPC A standards, featuring 10-meter eaves, three loading doors, a secure self-contained yard, and fully fitted office space.
The project is expected to create approximately 150 construction jobs and, upon completion, provide up to 95 permanent positions.
Bermuda Park, located near the M6’s junction 3, is home to companies like Evri, Unipart, GIST, and HelloFresh.
Jenny Clarke, associate development director at Tungsten Properties said: “We are pleased to have secured planning consent and look forward to developing a modern sustainable industrial and logistics facility to meet the high demand from companies needing to be located centrally with direct access to the M6 motorway. Our investment will create local jobs in both the construction and end-use phases.”
Adam McGuinness, partner, industrial agency team at Carter Jonas said: “This is a positive result for both Tungsten and the Nuneaton and Coventry market. The speculative delivery of Nuneaton 37 will be well-received by both local and national businesses seeking a delivered solution and access to local skilled labour pools. We look forward to engaging with occupiers about the potential opportunities.”
