New private equity owner for 765-strong accountancy firm
Accountancy firm Dains, which offices across the Midlands, has a new private equity partner after IK X Fund took a majority stake in the practice, alongside the management team which is "significantly" re-investing.
IK will succeed Horizon Capital as the majority shareholder. Financial terms of the transaction are not disclosed.
Following investment from Horizon Capital in 2021, Dains has grown rapidly as a result of 10 acquisitions and strong organic growth. The company has 765 employees.
