Contractor moves into Quinton and more new property lettings

BIRMINGHAM-based regen specialist St. Modwen Properties has signed up building contractor Prater to its Quinton Business Park near Halesowen.
The firm, which is headquartered in Surrey and delivers design and installation services, has agreed a five-year lease on a 3,600 sq ft unit.
It is relocating from its offices in Bromsgrove and Meriden to bring together its Midlands design teams under one roof.
In other lettings news, Birmingham businesswoman Jayne Lloyd has taken her first office for her card making and craft supply business JJD Cards.
She launched the venture from her own home near four years ago but has now taken a 1,300 sq ft unit on a three-year lease at Kings Norton Business Park.
Employment services firm Remploy has opened a new Birmingham branch at Equipoint in Yardley.
The company has taken 1,309 sq ft of service accommodation on the complex, owned by Highcross. Agents for Equipoint are Colliers and KWB.
Highcross has also completed a 9,000 sq ft letting at its Livery Place office building in Birmingham city centre.
HR firm Randstad has taken a whole floor of the building in Livery Street. Joint letting agents for the scheme are GBR Phoenix Beard and CBRE.
Web-based projects and product compliance solutions company Comply Serve has taken 2,000 sq ft at Solihull complex The Courtyard, owned by Prudential Pensions.
Joint agents on the scheme are Jones Lang LaSalle and Salway Bradbury.
Real Estate Fund Managers Prudential is managing the asset on behalf of Prudential Pensions.
Finally, Tamworth-based Hampton Knight, which specialises in workplace wellbeing services, has taken 5,057 sq ft at Vantage House on Sandy Hill Business Park in Amington, owned by Nuneaton-based Sibson Mill Properties.
Vantage House is the fifth speculatively built phase to be completed at the park over the past six years and Hampton’s letting takes up half of the available space.
