Stafford management contract win for CPBigwood

BIRMINGHAM-based property agent and auctioneer CPBigwood has won a new property management contract.

The company has been appointed by Bovis Homes at the St George’s Park development in Stafford which comprises 375 plots.

The project involves saving the grade II listed St George’s Hospital near the town centre by turning it into apartments and constructing new homes in the grounds.

The building, which dates back to 1818, was an asylum and one of three similar hospitals built in England at the time to resemble a Georgian country house.

Partner Bob Simonds said: “This is a valued new instruction for us and we are very pleased to secure it.

“With its rich heritage and modern facilities, Stafford offers great local amenities. This scheme will be transformational for the town.”
